Freddy’s starts construction in Ennis

ENNIS, Texas – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, recently started construction at 1211 E Ennis Ave. The new location is on track to open by the end of the year.

“Residents in Ennis have been requesting we join their community, and we are excited to make this announcement today. We can’t wait to start serving guests in the area,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “Our new location makes us a convenient dining option for those traveling along the highway, as well as those looking for a place to eat after shopping at our retail neighbors.”

The 2,656 square-foot, freestanding restaurant will seat 80 guests and have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
