Freddy’s sixth Tucson location opens Sunday
TUCSON, Ariz. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Sunday, June 23, at 1385 E. Tucson Marketplace Blvd. The new restaurant marks the sixth location for Freddy’s in Tucson. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Tucson Metro Chamber is planned for Monday, June 24, at 10 a.m. Non-profit group, Healing Arizona Veterans, will receive 10 percent of all regular and large-sized frozen custard treat sales through July 23.
“We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know guests at our locations in Tucson by serving fantastic food and frozen custard, and supporting community activities for local schools and other nonprofit organizations,” said Jason Ingermanson, franchise owner. “We take pride in being a part of the community and being a good neighbor to the residents and businesses in the area. We feel thrilled to expand Freddy’s and give residents in the community another convenient location to visit.”
The 2,751 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 56 guests and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Healing Arizona Veterans
Healing Arizona Veterans, a 501(c)3 charity, sponsors the treatment of military veterans suffering from combat-related TBI and PTSD. The treatment utilizes Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) at private facilities; NorthStar HBOT in Tucson and HBT of Arizona in Phoenix.
