Freddy’s second Summerville location opens Tuesday

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 2501 N. Main St. The new restaurant marks a second Freddy’s location in Summerville. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“This will be our second location in the city, and we have additional sites planned for Summerville and the Charleston metro area in the future,” said Derek DeVera, franchise owner. “Starting with our newest addition at Main Street, we hope to achieve a closer presence to many of our local fans in the community, as well as reach those who haven’t yet visited Freddy’s.”

The 3,000 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 100 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Our location at Ladson Road has become a local go-to for a quick bite to eat and serves as a great place for friends and family to meet up, relax, and enjoy a quality meal together,” said DeVera. “We felt this was the right time to expand, and we’re looking forward to serving the northwest part of the area.”
