Freddy’s opens Tuesday in Lufkin

LUFKIN, Texas – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, June 27, at 4103 S Medford Dr. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

"We're thrilled to bring the Freddy's experience to Lufkin and look forward to serving the community with our cooked-to-order food made with premium quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality,” said JJ Ramsey, franchise owner. “We’re a convenient stop for area shoppers and movie-goers looking for a quick bite to eat, as well as for guests who want to relax and enjoy a fresh meal and dessert treat with family and friends.”

The 3,148 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 82 guests, has additional seating on the patio and drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“We have two popular specialty orders: the Freddy’s Original Double and the Signature Turtle Sundae,” said Ramsey. “There are a variety of condiments and toppings for our cooked-to-order menu items and freshly churned frozen custard, so we encourage you to customize your orders to your liking.
